ÖBB-Personenverkehr AG was founded in 2004 and started its operations on the 1st of January 2005 with the transport of passengers by train and bus. The shares of the company are wholly owned by ÖBB-Holding AG.
ÖBB-Personenverkehr AG is Austria's largest mobility service provider. Every day more than one million travelers choose it’s rail or bus services for transport. More than 4,000 train services and 30,000 bus services are available for the customers.
Whether train attendant, call centre agent or travel advisor - all of the approximately 2,700 employees contribute to a high level of service, safety and reliability.

In project TARO the role of ÖBB- Personenverkehr AG is to provide data and expertise from employees whose input is used in the various work-packages.
