With over 4,000 employees at 25 locations, ÖBB TS is a comprehensive provider of maintenance and further development of rail vehicles and their components in Austria and Hungary as well as in defined target markets. Its core competence is the implementation and further development of light and heavy maintenance, component maintenance, engineering and running of auxiliary and test trains. As a full service provider with ECM (Entity in Charge of Maintenance) responsibility, we take over the entire maintenance process. Modern technology enables us to detect and rectify faults in good time.
In the TARO project, the role of ÖBB TS is the management of work package 2 "Digital Twin Vehicle" and thus the coordination of activities and participating partners. In addition, ÖBB TS is involved in the content, drives the development of the digital twin and provides the necessary data and technical know-how as well as the possibility to validate proof of concepts in a practical way.
