ÖBB-Holding AG

ÖBB Holding AG is responsible for managing the consoritum. It's main focus is project management and communication with project partners and funding bodies.

ÖBB-Holding AG was founded on April 20, 2004 as the strategic lead company of the ÖBB Group. 100 percent of the shares are held by the Republic of Austria. The shares are administered by the Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK).

The main task of ÖBB-Holding AG, which holds all of the share rights in the subordinate companies of the ÖBB Group, is to exercise these share rights as well as the uniform strategic orientation of the ÖBB Group. 
As a result of this role, ÖBB-Holding AG and thus the consortium management are involved in the strategic conception of numerous national and international R&D programs and projects. 

Employees, for example, are continuously involved in international specialist bodies such as the UIC Research and Innovation Coordination Group, the European Rail Research Advisory Board and the CTO meeting of the European railways.
